NO CHILDREN/ANIMALS
Although we are huge animal lovers, and we do love kids- for the enjoyment of your salon experience and the relaxation of other guests, children and animals are not permitted in the salon. If your childcare arrangements unexpectedly change, please notify the salon at your earliest convenience and we will do our best to accommodate your needs in the best way available. Children over 12 may receive services at full price if they are cooperative, etc.
REFUNDS
We DO NOT offer refunds of any kind. If for whatever reason you are unhappy with your service, please notify White Opal within a week of your appointment.
BLONDING SERVICES/COLOR CORRECTIONS ON NEW CLIENTS
We require a $30 deposit for all new clients on all services exceeding 2 hours. The deposit will be applied to your service the day of. Due to high demand this deposit is non refundable.
CANCELLED/RESCHEDULED OR MISSED APPOINTMENTS
Your appointments are very important to the White Opal Hair Co members. They are reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. If you cancel or make changes to your appointment less than 24 hours in advance you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee of the service(s) originally scheduled. If you exceed 2 times of rescheduling your appointment you will have to leave a 50% deposit for the future appointment. If this its a recurring issue that you miss appointments or reschedule your stylist may refuse to provide you with future services.
NO CALL/NO SHOWS
If you do not call/text to cancel/reschedule and do not show up on the scheduled date and time of your appointment you will be charged 100% of the service(s) originally scheduled.
CREDIT CARD REQUIRED
A credit card is require to be kept on file to schedule any long color/ blonding appointment. We require atleast 24 hours notice to CANCEL OR MAKE ANY CHANGES to an appointment. In the case that 24 hours notice is not given for a cancellation/rescheduling, your credit card will be charged 50% of the service that was scheduled. NO CALL/NO SHOWS will be charged 100% of the service that was scheduled.
CONFIRMATION CALLS
As a courtesy, 48 hours prior to your appointment you will receive a conformation text that you will need to reply “C” to. However, if you do not confirm and we are unable to reach you to confirm that appointment, your appointment will cancelled and a fee will apply. Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed/cancelled appointments and the cancellation fee.
TIMING YOUR APPOINTMENTS
Please allow plenty of time for your appointment. We want to you to truly enjoy your visit and look forward to coming to the salon. Often luxury hair appointments can last 2-3+ hours for a color, refresh, highlight, glaze and blowout. If you have any concerns regarding duration of appointments, please feel free to contact the salon or consult with your stylist in advance.
PRICING STRUCTURE
Services vary in price depending on length of hair, thickness of hair, time required, products involved, our two tiered pricing system, and stylists demand. Feel free to ask your stylist if you are unsure how our pricing structure works or schedule a consultation and we will assess your needs
EXTENSIONS
We are proud to utilize only the finest quality extensions on the market to add volume, length, or color work to your hair. We offer hand-tied wefts, tape ins and keratin bonds. Extensions can be worn long term (with regular maintenance appointments, usually ranging about 4-6 weeks). If you are considering extensions, we would be happy to provide you a consultation.
WI-FI AVAILABLE
Yes, we have WiFi. Please feel free to bring your device, tablet, iPad or laptop with you to your appointment. We ask that all devices be used on “silent” or with headphones to ensure a relaxing experience for all our clients.

CONSULTATIONS, COLOR CORRECTIONS & COLOR CORRECTION CONTRACT
A consultation is required prior to reserving a color correction appointment. Consultations are recommended for all appointments but required for corrections. Consultations are $25. The following information is important to know if you are a client receiving a color/chemical service:
Color history and the use of medications must be divulged when consulting with your stylist. If you are currently under the care of an MD, it is your responsibility to research if color services are compatible with any prescription medication or cancer treatment which you are currently being treated with, or have used prior to your color appointment. Your stylist is not a trained medical physician.
A color correction contract MUST BE SIGNED before your color correction appointment begins. You can choose to print and sign at home to bring with you on the day of your appointment or you can sign here at the salon before your appointment begins. If you do not sign, the services will not be performed by the stylist and a cancellation fee will apply.
Below is a list of items to address with your colorist prior to your appointment - as these items may cause negative chemical reactions to the hair when mixed with salon chemicals services.
previously over-processed hair: by repeatedly layering dyes over porous pre-lightened hair
taking prescription medication: that inadvertently alters the bonds of the hair (methotrexate, sulfa based medications)
thermal damage: by over-use of hot tools
use of metallic dyes, salts, or minerals: (box color) or use of "over mineralized well water" chemicals may cause negative reaction to enlightenment services
use of henna or vegetable dyes: chemicals may cause negative reaction to enlightenment services
permed or relaxed hair: chemicals may cause negative reaction to enlightenment services
**IT IS OUR PRIORITY TO CONDUCT THOROUGH CONSULTATIONS FOR ALL SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH THE SALON, HOWEVER IT IS EACH CLIENT'S PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY TO BE UPFRONT AND HONEST ABOUT THEIR HAIR HISTORY AND TO RESEARCH THE ITEMS LISTED ABOVE. ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO THE HAIR AS A RESULT OF UNDIVULGED INFORMATION DURING THE CONSULTATION IS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STYLIST.**
